Preparing Your Home For Sale

• Prune shrubs, make sure lawn is tidy, flowers in spring and summer give the true impression of caring owners.  Make sure driveways and walks are clear of snow in winter.
  
  De-personalize the home by removing photos, mementos.  You want potential clients to concentrate on the house, not the photos.
  
  Have soft music playing during showings.  This gives a calming effect and also helps to muffle outside noises.

• Arrange fresh or silk flowers throughout the home.
  
• Light a fire in the fireplace in fall and winter.
